We are pleased and honoured to invited you to an evening with the author Dubravka Ugresic, of former Yugoslavia. Ugresic grew up in Croatia, and studied comparative and Russian literature, whereupon she was recognized for her work, both as an author and a literary critic. When, in 1991, the war broke out, Ugresic took on a firm anti-nationalitic stand, and was therefore subjected to harsh media treatment, and finally left her homeland in 1993. She currently teaches and lectures in different universities across the US and Europe.
The evening will be held in English. Ugresic's books can be found at Adraba. Come in Peace
